I Love This Car
In late 2001 I finally broke-down and bought myself the car I'd been
admiring on the streets for years: A 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6.
I'd always
been a fan of the pounding V8s, rocketcar acceleration and outrageous
styling of these brutal muscle cars as a kid and I found the 4th
generation of the F-body held no less appeal than those of old.
I actually bought mine before it was announced that 2002 would be the last
run for the F-body, but I'd heard rumors: Since then, demand has risen significantly and
they're getting pretty hard to find.
As your attorney I advise you to get one
before you miss the last of the classic muscle cars.
You will also need to invest in a very good radar detector.
I must warn you: There is a level of obsession that comes with these
cars you might not be prepared for. They look so beautiful that you'll
find yourself sinking weekends into waxing, polishing and detailing.
Another notable side-effect is attention, lots of it and not all good:
Police take note, teenagers rev their V6s and little old ladies hesitate
to cross in front of the pitch black nose and fiery red eyes.
Here you'll find the Firebird's specs, mods, dyno charts and some photos.
